OK, so I'm going to head over to my desktop, and I'll see you in a second. MATT DENNY : in case you have Linux and don't know how to install R just to make sure that we're all on the same page. So I'm just going to quickly go through this If you open up a command line and type in R, you may find that you just already have R installed. But in general, your distro may actually also come with R already. And if you have some other flavor of Linux, there are some directions on the CRAN web page. MATT DENNY : you'll be able to get it that way. If you look for R base in the Ubuntu store thing, MATT DENNY : or on Windows will feature graphical user interface installers- they're sort of easy little programs you download off the R website- if you're using R on a Linux machine, you're going to have to use the command line to get it. So whereas the videos for installing R on a Mac I'm also going to assume that you know how to use the command line. So if you're running Linux on your computer, I'm generally going to assume that you probably know what you're doing.
